Something Somewhere

A photo game for everyday life

Still taking shape

There’s always
something
somewhere.

Something Somewhere is a photo game for everyday life.

Look a little closer at the places you pass every day and capture whatever catches your eye.

Try the Brief

Sometimes an ordinary scene gives you a reason to look twice.

A Brief you can try now

Find Something Somewhere.

Look for the two O shapes from our logo in the world around you, then capture a pair that catches your attention.

Even familiar places can surprise you.

These four photos show how the same Brief can lead to different discoveries.

What’s taking shape

A bigger game is coming.

The same idea sits at the heart of Something Somewhere. A shared Brief gives everyone a place to begin, while leaving the answer up to you. World is being shaped for shared play, with private games for your own people too.

Your everyday plans could become a little adventure.

We’re developing ten Side Quests. You might find yourself in An Extremely Ordinary Mystery, or looking for Something Enchanted.

Studio

Turn your photos into keepsakes.

Studio is being shaped to turn a capture you care about into a digital keepsake that feels personal to you.

We’re starting with digital keepsakes. Physical keepsakes are something we’d like to explore later, when we’re ready.

The Brief

I nearly walked past this.

It starts with something you noticed.
The original capture: a tiny brown mushroom stands in sunlit moss.
The same photo becomes a new composition.
The same capture reworked into an enlarged mushroom cut-out and a circular moss detail.

The finished design gives that small discovery somewhere to live.

Small wonder. A whole world at my feet.An illustrative digital collage made from the original capture. The tiny mushroom is cut out and enlarged over a moss detail, layered with paper shapes, electric blue and expressive type. The original capture is inset below. THINGS I ALMOST MISSED Smallwonder. We’re still putting it all together.

Something Somewhere isn’t open yet. World and private play are planned as free ways to play, and Studio is planned to be free too. We’re still developing the digital Editions and all ten Side Quests.

For now, look around before you go.
