Terms
Beta terms, kept simple
By using Something Somewhere, you agree to these friendly beta terms. They're short on purpose.

What this app does
Something Somewhere suggests local plans, places, and things to do based on what you tell it. These are suggestions, not guarantees. We're not the venues, organisers, or businesses in your results.
Please check the details yourself
Before you head out, check the important stuff directly with the place or organiser:
- opening times and whether it's actually on
- prices and booking requirements
- safety, suitability, and age restrictions
- accessibility for everyone in your group
Suggestions can be wrong
Recommendations are generated automatically (with help from AI) and can be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or occasionally just off. Use your own judgement, and treat results as a starting point rather than the final word.
Fair use
You agree not to misuse the service. For example, please don't:
- use it for anything unlawful or harmful
- try to break, overload, scrape, or disrupt it
- enter other people's personal information or content you don't have the right to use
Beta availability
This is an early beta. Features may change, pause, or disappear, and the app may be unavailable at times. We might add limits during testing. No promises about uptime or that any particular feature will stick around.
Donations and support
If a support or donation link is available, any payment is completely voluntary — a thank-you that helps cover costs. It does not buy an account, guaranteed access, or specific features unless we clearly say otherwise. Payments are handled by the third-party payment provider under their own terms.
Liability, in simple terms
We offer Something Somewhere "as is" during the beta and can't promise it'll be error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from relying on suggestions — for example a place being closed, priced differently, unsuitable, or not as described. You're responsible for your own decisions and plans. Nothing here removes rights you have that can't legally be waived.
